Task 3:
The quotation we selected was “Developing excellent communication skills is absolutely essential to effective leadership. The leader must be able to share knowledge and ideas to transmit a sense of urgency and enthusiasm to others. If a leader can't get a message across clearly and motivate others to act on it, then having a message doesn't even matter."; from this quotation, we think it means that to become an effective leader, one must have good communication skills. Because if the message is unclear, the team cannot achieve its goals efficiently. In addition, the quote also emphasizes the importance of leadership, not only by telling people what to do but guiding them towards a collective aim.

Thanks for this interpretation, Bong. By the way, there is a sentence fragment here connected to a punctuation issue. :)
ReplyDeleteThe content is clear and straightforward, however, I feel that there are a few minor grammar and style improvements you can make to further enhance the clarity and flow of your statement, Such as
ReplyDelete"We believe that becoming an effective leader" and "If the message is unclear" get rid of the redundant "Because" front of the sentence
These changes will help maintain a consistent and clear expression of your ideas.
Hi Arki, thanks for your comment.
DeleteMy partner and I felt that the grammar used was correct, if you disagree, please bring it to our attention. To further elaborate, the "Because" infront of the sentence was necessary as we were introduced a reason to our argument. Thank for taking the time to comment on my post!
Cheers!
